I have been working making money online for over three years now, and here is some of what I have learned. I found that there are signs to look for to indicate if a program is a hard way or an easy way to make money online:

Sign #3: there are signs of success from others. you have to watch testimonials because they can not only be lies but even computer generated. find a program where you can even contact the real people behind the testimonial.
Sign #4: you do not have to keep spending money after you buy the (inexpensive) program. something that requires you to buy your traffic from the search engines in the form of pay per click qualifies as an advanced course in my book; not easy.
Sign #5: the technique allows you to work on your own schedule. this is very important since, unless you have lost your primary source of income, it will not be easy to make webcasts at a certain time or check certain statistics on a regular basis.

Let me start by explaining the concept of a website and the internet. I believe you use to go to your local market places. What do you see there?
Shops, goods, sellers, buyers, and other services.
This concept explains the internet and website perfectly. when you go to a market place you see different shops with different names, different goods and services and above all, different sellers and buyers.
The internet is a market place that links many people sellers & buyers with different aims together.
Websites are shops with different names. Sellers are website owners. Buyers are visitors who visit a website with the motive of buying a particular item or goods and to get information.
The different names are names and titles that websites bear.
Other services are services rendered on the internet apart from buying and selling.
I believe you now understand the concept of website and internet. let us continue with getting a website. You can pay an expert to design a website for you or you can start with a blog.
For a starter who wants to make money before spending, I will suggest you start with a blog. The two blogging platforms I will suggest are Blogger and Word press. These are free. I started with blogger. You too can start with that because it is easier to use.
The same thing with a domain name. if you are David and you have chosen your niche as story telling. then your domain name must bear what you do, as this will help people to know what your blog or website is all about and find you easily on search engine. You may choose your domain name as: David story.com, Dave tells the story.com, story planet.com etc.
You have chosen your domain name now, let us continue to the last step in this stage. Choosing your blog or website description. it is important you choose the right keywords as this will help your blog or website to be found in search engines. I will explain this further in the next stage.
Remember the bookshop we have spoken about earlier. The name of the bookshop is Dave books and stationery store. Then the description will be: dealers in all kinds of books. textbooks, religious books, Writing materials, story books, etc. this is similar to blog or website description. it describes further what your blog or website Is all about.
#2 – Putting Content on Your Blog
After you are done with the setting up of your blog or website, you need to stock it regularly with lots of good and fresh content.
What do I mean by good and fresh content?
This takes us back to the shop in the market place, that is the bookshop. if you go to the market to buy books, and you see a bookstore that is well stocked and the one that is not well stocked, you would surely want to patronize the well stocked bookstore, because it looks attractive and you believe you will get what you want there. The same with a blog or website with lots of good contents. if you are a storyteller who chooses to write stories on your blog or website for your visitors to read, begin by writing up to 20 different stories and post them on your blog or website for your visitors to read.
#3 – Diving Traffic to Your Blog or Website
Once you have written your articles and have published them to your blog, it is time you get people visit your blog or website to read them. it is these people visiting your site that are called traffic.
You can encourage your readers to leave a comment on each article you post. they can find the Write a comment at the bottom of each post. by this they would want to come back next time to read the reply you’ve given to their comments. if you have published a new article by the time of their revisit, they would want to read it and so it goes, by this, you are getting a number of loyal readers or traffic. Go to Google and type article directories. you will get a lot of them there. Where you can submit your articles.
You will first be required to register. Submit all your ten articles and place your blog or website in the resource box. Wait for two or three days to get your articles approved. when your articles have been approved, then you should be expecting more visitors to your site.
If you want to get more article submission directories, simply go to Google and type free article directories into the search box. You will get lots of them.
Social Networking Sites
We have a lot of social networking sites today. But the most popular of them all are Facebook and Twitter. You can use these platforms to drive traffic to by creating a fan page for your blog or website. this fan page must bear the name of your website and you must use your site logo as the profile picture.
It is good to find a logo for your blog or website as the power of logo is very strong in giving a site a unique recognition. You can look at yahoo for example with the logo it has. look at Facebook too. this logo makes them stand out among other competitors. after creating your Facebook page, make sure you share every new article you publish on your social network site. after your blog or website have been designed, a share it button will be automatically added to it.

You can find this by typing networked blogs into the Facebook search box. We have discussed about domain name earlier. 3. Affiliate Marketing: In simple words, affiliate marketing means selling somebody’s product and getting commission. You can simply do this by registering on affiliate sites like amazon click bank and so on.
After you have registered as an affiliate, you will be given affiliate links or banners for the products you want to promote. You can place these banners on your site. when someone visits your site, and clicks on the banner, it takes them to the site of the product you are promoting. when this person buys the product, you get a commission. this is how to promote your affiliate banners.
For your affiliate links, you will be given only a website link and not a banner. You cannot just display a website link on your site as it will no t make any sense.
